ULTRA RESISTANT & INDUCTION FRIENDLY

Choc Extreme is the utmost robust nonstick cookware collection of de Buyer, created originally exclusively for demanding professionals, the chefs. Choc Extreme pans distinguish from others by being made of real pressure cast aluminum: it is much more hard, heat and choc resistant than forged aluminum (Choc B bois), which is itself more resistant than aluminum (Choc). In other words, it means the combination of high heat and time are not going to deform the bottom of Choc Extreme pans. That's important: when a pan starts to deform, the heat doesn't spread evenly, and you may found your dish uncooked as wished in the middle but burnt on its sides, or the opposite.

Choc Extreme coating is an ultra reinforced coating without PFOA and PFOS consolidated by projection. It means its adhesion to its core pressure cast aluminum is much better. The coating is therefore much more resistant to scratch. Its very thick base cuts out sudden, unwelcome reactions when too much heat is applied. The handle is made of tubular stainless steel. All in all Choc Extreme will last much longer than any other nonstick pan.

We like: The exceptional non-stick performance of the coating lets you cook with very little fat. Very easy to clean with hot water, washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. The even and controlled cooking process provided by the thick cast aluminium makes it particularly suitable for cooking delicate food, such as certain types of fish.

We recommend: do not heat when empty or overheat. Avoid temperature shocks. Do not use metal objects in the cookware.

Care: wash by hand only, non-abrasive sponge.
