Handmade at the forge, in Laguiole

Quite possibly the finest Cigar cutter in the world, this Laguiole cigar cutter is entirely handmade in the village of Laguiole and features Stainless steel bolsters, liners, and cutter. This piece also features the traditional shepherd cross found on most high-end traditional Laguiole cutlery and an entirely hand chiseled spring top.

Satin or Shiny finish: from an aesthetic point of view, Forge de Laguiole experienced knife-smiths believe preciouswood handles will be as beautifully and as equally enhanced with a satin(matte) or with a shiny (gloss polish) finish of the whole stainless steelstructure (blade, bolsters, spring, bee...). It's a matter of personal choiceand style. Choose the option you prefer.

This handle material: Briar wood (Erica arborea) harvested in France. Briar wood is a typical wood of the Mediterranean region and France in particular. Extremely solid and heat resistant, Briar wood unveils magnificent grain and patterns thanks to the polishing , making it a luxury wood used in jewelry.

The precious wood handle is enhanced by two stainless steel bolsters forged and fixed on a metal liner which will be drilled and polished before the assembly of the knife. They help to protect the handle during daily use.
